Thank you for making the 2024 Planting Hope Garden Party a Huge Success!

We can’t say enough how much we appreciate all of your support for this year’s event, which was held April 21 at La Masseria at Bella Vista Golf Course in Gilbertsville. You helped us raise more than $62,000 for our food and nutrition programs!

We were excited to honor the Seeds of Hope Award winners, the Cunningham Family. Thank you to our venue sponsors, La Massaria, dessert sponsors The Farm Bakery and Events in Quakertown, Local Mama Catering in Bethlehem and Dale Westwood, as well as to everyone who attended. We’re so grateful for everyone who gave a gift or donated to the silent auction. We’re looking forward to next year’s garden party to be held in March 2025. Thank you for your generosity!

Welcome New Executive Director, Marianne Lynch!

The board of directors of The Open Link, a social services non-profit serving the greater Upper Perkiomen Valley, is excited to announce the appointment of Marianne Lynch as executive director.

Lynch, who began her role December 11, brings a myriad of non-profit experience to the position including serving as the executive director of A Woman’s Place in Bucks County, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties and other non-profits.

“I am both honored and thrilled to be able to lead The Open Link in this next chapter! As someone who has worked with communities to increase access to food, housing and safety, I hope to bring this experience to the position as we tackle challenges facing the Upper Perkiomen Valley. Needs such as access to affordable and nutritious food, the struggles of our growing senior community and housing access and affordability are areas where I plan to prioritize our efforts. I am humbled by the community’s support of TOL and I look forward to serving the wonderful people who call Upper Perk home.”

Lynch will work alongside Interim Executive Director Stuart Bush through her first month at The Open Link.

“Marianne clearly has heart for The Open Link’s mission,” Bush said. “Her extensive experience as Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer for two other human services nonprofits give her the underlying skills needed to lead TOL on to continued success.

“I’m looking forward to working with her to ensure a smooth transition for the agency with staff, board, volunteers, donors, and other stakeholders. I am deeply grateful to the UPV community for their ongoing support of the agency and our mission.”
