Successful "All-Star" Brunch & Silent Auction Raises nearly $20,000 for The Open Line
Members of the Upper Perkiomen Valley community continued their generous support for The Open Line as about 100 attended the not-for-profit's annual Brunch and Silent Auction on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Schultheis' Carriage House Restaurant in East Greenville. With the backdrop of red, white and blue All-Stars, event patrons enjoyed a delicious buffet and bid on over 115 items donated by individuals and businesses in our community. The event raised nearly $20,000 and will support vital client services offered by The Open Line.
Central to the event's success were the donations and sponsorships from individuals and community businesses. The Open Line would like to recognize the 2012 annual sponsors: Presenting/Gold Sponsors included QNB, Stauffer Glove & Safety, and Titanium Finishing Co.; Corporate/Silver Sponsors included Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Jim Landis, Inc., Perkiomen Animal Hospital, PPL Corporation, St. Luke's Upper Perkiomen Outpatient Center, and Univest Bank & Trust Co.; and Contributing/Bronze Sponsors included United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Upper Perkiomen Community Church.
Lilibet Coe, The Open Line's Executive Director, thanked those in attendance and the community at large for their generous support. "We are so thankful to have so many "all-stars" in our community who, despite tough economic times, continue to support us in meeting the needs of our clients."
